Frequently Asked Questions

Want to learn more about hypnosis and Rapid Transformational Therapy® (RTT®)? Here are some useful FAQs.

What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state that we all experience at various times and in various depths throughout the day. The experience of hypnosis has been described in many ways but is often explained as a streamlined state of focused attention. Many people describe hypnosis as feeling similar to daydreaming, when they are neither fully alert, nor asleep. Everyone’s experiences and therefore descriptions of hypnosis will vary because it feels different to different people. Hypnosis is usually associated with a pleasant feeling of deep relaxation and this can be part of the therapy.

What is hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a combination of hypnosis and therapy to bring about changes in the client’s thoughts, feelings and behaviours at a deeper than conscious level, which is the subconscious level.

What is the subconscious mind?

The subconscious mind is a data-bank for everything, which is not in your conscious mind. It stores your beliefs, your previous experience, your memories, your skills. Everything that you have seen, done or thought is also there. Your subconscious mind controls 90 to 95 percent of your life.

Can I get “stuck” in hypnosis?

No! That’s an absolute myth. You have complete control the whole time. You can talk, move your body, get a tissue, even get up and leave. You don’t feel any different from normal. Listen to the hypnosis audios on the home page to experience hypnosis

When will I start to see changes?

There are 3 types of change from Rapid Transformational Therapy®️ - every person responds differently and all of them are effective. So stick to your process.
1. Immediate: You feel a massive shift right away - immediate changes in your physiology, thoughts and behaviours right in the session.
2. Incremental: You see consistent shifts every day, or over time.
3. Retroactive: You don’t see the shifts right away and then one day you suddenly look back and see all the things that are different in your life.

How long is a session?

Each Rapid Transformational Therapy®️ session lasts between 90 minutes to 2 hours and having an extra 30 mins to relax is beneficial.
